Affiliate program

If you already advise businesses on how to run themselves better, referring them to ShoBiz, should pay you for a recommendation you were making anyway.

How it works

Step

What happens

1. Apply

Create a ShoBiz account, then apply to the program from your dashboard.

2. Get approved

We review every application by hand. Approval is not automatic.

3. Share your link

You get a unique referral link and a code. Anyone arriving through it is attributed to you.

4. Earn

When a referral becomes a paying subscriber, you earn commission, and keep earning as long as they keep their membership

5. Get paid

Balances above the payout threshold are paid on a regular schedule.

Your dashboard shows clicks, signups, conversions and commission balance, so you can see what is actually working rather than guessing.

Tracking and attribution

Referrals are tracked by a link and code, and attribution is held for a set window after the click — so a business that visits, thinks it over, and signs up later is still credited to you.

Attribution goes to the first affiliate link that brought someone in. If a person arrives through two different affiliates, the earlier referral holds.

Commission and payouts

Commission rates are set per program and confirmed in writing when you are approved. We do not publish a single rate here, because rates vary by program and we would rather tell you the real number than advertise one you might not receive.

Payout basics:

  • Minimum payout: $50. Balances below that, roll forward, until the threshold is met.

  • Paid monthly by default, on the schedule set in your affiliate settings.

  • Paid by PayPal, bank transfer, wire, cheque, or Stripe — whichever you configure.

  • US tax details are required before any payout. We collect these when you are approved.

Commission is earned on subscriptions that are actually paid and kept. A referral that is refunded, charged back, or cancelled during the clawback period does not earn — and if it has already been paid, it is reversed against your balance.

What you may not do

These are the rules that get an affiliate removed, so they are worth reading before you start.

  • No earnings claims. Do not tell anyone what they will make using ShoBiz, in income, approvals, or funding. You cannot substantiate it and neither can we.

  • No self-referral. Your own accounts, your own businesses, and accounts you control do not earn commission.

  • No bidding on our brand terms in paid search, and no ads that imply you are ShoBiz.

  • No unsolicited email or texts. Spam complaints against an affiliate link end the relationship and can damage our sending reputation, which affects every customer.

  • No coupon, cashback, or incentive sites without our written agreement.

  • No misrepresenting what the platform does, and no claiming it is a bank, a lender, or a credit repair service. It is none of those.

  • Disclose the relationship. US law requires you to tell your audience you earn a commission. Say it plainly and near the link.

We may withhold or reverse commission for fraud, self-referral or misrepresentation, and we may change or end the program on notice. Full terms are in Section 11 of the Terms of Service.

Who tends to do well

  • Bookkeepers and accountants whose clients are managing books across disconnected tools

  • Business consultants and coaches advising on operations

  • Funding and business credit specialists — where the platform started

  • Agencies already building or managing systems for clients

  • Creators with an audience of small business operators

What these have in common is an existing relationship of trust. Affiliate links posted to strangers do not convert well for a product like this, and we would rather set that expectation now.
